This is not an update I expected to share anytime soon as we just recently moved into our former kitchen space in the fall of 2018. However, as anyone who lives in the Bay Area knows, commuting from San Francisco to Oakland and back - while short in distance - takes forever!
And just as I was beginning to seriously hate the two hours spent in the car going there and back, an opening happened in the commercial kitchen down the road from me. Literally down the road. I can almost see the parking lot from my back porch!!!
Because of our move, I'm thrilled to say we've also joined SF Made. SF Made is a non-profit that works directly with local manufacturers within the 7x7. I recently shared a blog on how important keeping manufacturing local is to me, so joining an organization like this is directly aligned with Bushka's mission!
You'll also start seeing us at more pop ups in the city now that spring is here (and summer soon!) If you came out and saw us at our first popup for the year, the Noriega Night Market, thanks for stopping by! We heard a few times how much samples would have been nice - give us some time to work on this and come up with a good solution :) Your feedback is always so appreciated!
